Interactive and Participative Systems

New trends together with digital technological innovations enable museum, gallery, theater visitors to experience performances and artworks in new ways. Devices, applications, participative installations promote public engagement, generate new forms of interaction(s) and aesthetics of relations with artworks as well as with fellow visitors. During the workshop we explore different systems of interactions that affect the visitors’ subjective experience with a piece (visual, performative...) or with a space (museum, theater....). We build different strategies of interactivity, create systems and artworks that encourages the visitors physical action, manipulate their sensory encounters, and/or showcase their creative expressions.
