Displays: new spectatorship & exhibition forms

We explore new contemporary exhibition and curatorial forms based on collaboration, co-creation, interactivity, digital cultures, and practices. We observe how exhibition spaces and venues are evolving, how digital technologies and dematerialization transform curatorial practices, and how relations with visitors together with audience expectations are changing. We question how curating can become a performative activity, what is the relationship between scenography and exhibition, imagine and experiment new social, spatial, participatory and process-based contexts, rethink the static model of exhibition and explore new ways that reframe it as an environment undergoing formal and/or relational transformations.
