Since 2014, Gray Box leads regularly workshop for generating new ideas, forms, and aesthetics. Our methodology completes with contemporary visual arts and performance practices the pedagogical heritage of two pioneers in the field of education: the Bauhaus ideology about interdisciplinarity, and American postmodern choreographers working practices, based on collective creativity and movement-based process.
During our classes, we use props (our collection of costumes, masks, accessories, and makeup together with texts, a large variety of soft and flexible materials, complex light and sound systems...) in our experimental, movement-oriented, improvisation and performance exercises so as to develop creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. According to the topic and the objectives, the workshop generates different outcomes (eg. Performance, Object, Spatial design projects such as installation on scenery setting, Interactive systems, Hybrid spaces, Exhibition or Community building...).
